Bills vs. Jets live updates: Top moments from Monday Night Football | Genznews

Week 1 of the 2023 NFL season comes to a close Monday, as the new-look New York Jets host the AFC East-rival Buffalo Bills.

Future Hall of Fame quarterback Aaron Rodgers will be making his regular-season debut with the Jets, which are coming off a 7-10 season and entering their third season with head coach Robert Saleh.

On the other hand, Josh Allen and the Bills have won the AFC East in each of the last three seasons, but they were eliminated in the AFC divisional round for a second consecutive season in 2022.

Buffalo and New York split the 2022 season series, with both teams winning on their respective home turf.

Hearts for No. 3

After nearly losing his life last season, Damar Hamlin is back for the Buffalo Bills. Hamlin is listed as inactive for the game.

On the 22nd anniversary of 9/11, several tributes were conducted to honor those affected by the events.
